Prof. Dr. ABM Abdullah

Professor Dr. ABM Abdullah is a renowned medicine specialist in Bangladesh, with expertise in the treatment of medicine, diabetes, hypertension, thyroid disorders, liver diseases, gastric ulcers, heart diseases, infectious diseases, and various other chronic and complex conditions. He obtained his MBBS degree from Dhaka Medical College and later achieved MRCP (UK) and FRCP (Edin) qualifications. He served as a Professor and Dean of the Department of Medicine at Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (formerly PG Hospital), one of the country’s leading medical institutions. For his outstanding contribution to medical education, research, and healthcare services, he has been honored with numerous awards, including the prestigious Ekushey Padak. In 2019, he was appointed as the personal physician to the Honorable Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. Dr. ABM Abdullah is also the author of several popular medical textbooks, widely used by medical students both in Bangladesh and abroad. At present, he regularly sees patients at Central Hospital, Dhanmondi, Dhaka.
